The list is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, on infrastructure we operate directly. There is no third-party email marketing service, no mailing-list vendor, and no analytics company holding your address.
One thing: sending you word of new work from H.L. Delaney — the next book, the next piece of the record. No spam, no promotions for anyone else, and your address is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party, for any reason.
Email contact@hldelaney.com from the address you subscribed with (or name it in your message) and ask to be removed. Your record is deleted from the list — completely, not just marked inactive.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and privacy-first: it collects aggregate page-view counts without fingerprinting you, tracking you across sites, or storing anything about you individually.
Modoc War: Captain Jack's Stronghold, the companion iOS game, collects nothing about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Your settings and progress are stored locally on your device only and are removed if you delete the app. The game works fully offline; the only network use is if you tap the book link, which opens this site in your browser. The game depicts historical war and is rated 17+; it is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
